Dump Truck

Having the skills of a professional Skid Steer operator means that you are able to explain and demonstrate:

1. Walk Around safety inspection – that you can properly attend to the tires, fluids, hoses, and that every grease point has been properly attended too.
2. Equipment Safety – that you know and can explain the safety concerns for that specific piece of equipment.
3. Control Identification – that you can sit in the seat and explain what each of the controls do.
4. Start Up Procedures – a system used to get familiar with the controls, make sure all attachments work properly and to cycle the hydraulic fluid through the system.

5. Three specific job tasks done to industry standards – that you can get a full bucket of dirt, without spinning the tires, and without banging into the pile. That you can travel and properly place the material in a pile or in a dump truck without raising a dust cloud. That you can dig into the ground with the front bucket only.
6. Shut Down Procedures – that you can properly fuel, clean, grease, and properly park it.
7. Preventative Maintenance Procedures – that at the end of every day, you prepare a list of any maintenance concerns that you may have and get that list to those who need to know and who will take the needed action.
